Birthday Dreams

I opened my e-mail as soon as the girls left to the waterpark again,
SAMANTHA                 BIRTHDAY

Dear Becki,
I am writing this email with so much excitement Becki. Today is Agi's birthday and that means that you are going to be bought sometime soon! I know her parents are looking at which one she wants. Oh, Becki I hope that you come soon. We really miss you. Not that we've really officially met you. Well, I must leave, my laptop need to be put away since Agi's sister is home. Bye!
~Samantha

I closed my email smiling,
"You okay?" asked Rachel who stayed back, again,
"Perfectly fine!" I said, screaming a little than running out of the room, into the cafeteria

The story of them

I brushed my curly hair, pulling it back into a ponytail,
"Hey Becki, can I borrow that pink shirt you bought yesterday?"
Madeline asked me, looking into the mirror and examining herself. Borrow it, I thought to myself, you can have it. Turns out, if you go shopping with Ruthie and the girls as they called themselves, you have to buy everything pink. That's why when I wanted a yellow tank top, Ruthie yelled at me,
"Sure...." I say to Madeline who was looking at me hopefully,
"THANKS! This will look great with the tan I'm working on." She said, putting the shirt up to herself in front of the mirror.
"What are you wearing today?" she asked. I think the only thing I liked about Madeline is her modesty,
"I think I'll just sit around in my pajama's." I say,
"EWWW, they're like gray and you'll stink." Ruthie cut in, her new hot pink bikini looking fabulous on her.
"Well, I'm not going anywhere and I took a shower." I say, arguing a bit,
"You can live with yourself knowing a creeper might mistake you for one of them." she said back,
I looked at my outfit. My shirt had a ice cream stain from my ice cream pig out last night. My faded gray sweats were still a bit dirty since I had falled outside last night.
"Girls, let's go. The pool's going to open." Christine said, in her regular slightly boring voice. She had on a light pink swimsuit with white heart polka dots and her long legs were looking as pail as usual. Her hair had some hot pink highlights in it and was pulled up.
"I know Chrisine. Becki, you better change. WE can't be seen with a snob." said Ruthie, picking up her bag and leaving the room, Madeline and Christine trailing after her.
"Are they gone yet?" asked Rachel, who I had just noticed, missed the whole conversation,
"Yeah.." I said, sitting up in my bed.
"Awesome." said Rachel, stepping out of the bathroom, her hair tied up and she was wearing BLUE jeans and a GREEN panda shirt,
"Why didn't you go with them?" I ask,
"THEM! I said I wasn't feel good and wanted to stay here, then I ran into the bathroom, pretending I'm vomiting." she said, pulling out a lime green ipod.
"I thought you'd have a pink ipod?" I said, surprised.
She scoffed,"I hate pink!" she said
I looked a little confused,
"They just think I do," she answered.
"Why?" I ask again,
"Since......they wouldn't let me hang if I didn't"
I gave her a look saying I didn't believe it,
She continued, "Well then, here's what up. When I was 5, Ruthie Smittens was the "IT" girl. Every little girl wanted to be her friend but she had already chosen who she wanted her friends to be. I wasn't one of the girls who wanted to be her friend though. I wanted to play sports and skateboard. I did everything a little boy did. I slept in a race car bed but Ruthie didn't care. She decided I was supposed to be in her little "clique" so she made me. She had already told Madeline who was really gullible and didn't know any better. She never let me do what I wanted. Every girl envied/wanted to be her. After 2 years a new girl came, Christine. Ruthie was scared she might become some big popular girl so made her become one of her "Girls" too. Now, you're here and Ruthie did the same. Slowly she'll start realing you in Becki, and you won't be able to save yourself."
I listened as Rachel explained, her ipod playing quietly.
"How about the other people?" I asked, curiously,
"They have to watch and be her little prisoners." she answered me, her tone of voice was quiet and deep kind of like in those movies where  the main characters plan to catch the criminals or other guy.............

Natural Habitat

I limped back into my room that I shared with Ruthie and her girls. Turns out, after my "big splash" yesterday, I had sprained my ankle so while every other kid was at the waterpark, I got to stay in a tiny bedroom, alone, but I was used to it. The room was painted pink, all kinds of pink. Hot pink, light pink, carnation pink, lot of pink. It disgusted me a little but I kept my thoughts to myself. Madeline and Rachel shared a queen style bunk bed. It was white with floral things around it. Madeline had baby pink sheets and Rachel had hot pink sheets. They also had tons of posters above their bunk bed. There were Glee posters,
(which I have learned, Rachel is OBSESSED with), Victoria Justice, Miranda Cosgrove, Cody Simpson, some boy group named Big Time Rush, AND MANY MORE! They have a bunch of magazines all over the place and their baby blue and pink cell phones were charging on their nightstands. Christine was more of a goth girl girly girl. Her side was painted dark pink with black polka dots and stripes. She had a large queen size bed that was black. Her sheets were dark pink and lavender. She had no posters around her really but she did have pictures of her and her family instead. She always had the same expression. A forced smile. She was extremely tall compared to the size of her 2 brothers, sister and parents. Ruthie side was a little girls dream bedroom. She had a huge canopy bed that was of course queen size, her sheets were colors of every single pink color you could imagine. She had a million posters above her bed it looked like she had taken every existing picture of evrey celebrity alive! Her cell phone was charging on her nightstand where her pink diary was resting. My side instead was dull. It was pink of course but there was nothing there other than a queen sized bed with of course, pink sheets,
"Here Becki, decorate your side so you could feel more at home," Madeline had said before leaving with rest of the girls to go swimming. She had given me tons of things like posters, stickers, little stars to put up on the ceiling but I just laid on my bed, doing nothing, on a perfect summer day. I looked at the closet the girls shared overflowing with dresses, skirts, jeans, shoes and shirts. The jewerly that they had placed on what they call their salon. I couldn't feel at home in a roomy paradise.
"BECKI! WE'RE GOING SHOPPING! WANNA COME WITH!" yelled Ruthie as she entered the room, her hair already dry and her curly brown hair dried,
"Sure." I say, getting up, limping to the door.
