P.S Happy Birthday Samie

I got up to the usual hustle and bustle of the AG Place. I looked over to where Ivy was in her box. She was looking extra depessed today. I couldn't wait to ditch these boxes and hide in the back. Some of the dolls did this in fear of being chosen and leaving. As soon as the last customer left my aisle, I jumped out of my box and ran to the doll hide away. The doll hideaway is a giant room, with a door. It is behind an old display stand. The front had t.v's and couches, computers and a dining area. There are also bedrooms in the back for the dolls who never want to be chosen or for tired dolls, I waited by the couches for Ivy. The Julie display area is often very busy since Julie is such a popular doll. While I waited, I went to one of the 19 computers and opened my email. The 36 empty bedrooms were getting used to see which ones would be good for school. I opened my email,

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! My mom is having a party in about an hour. She is getting us ready in half an hour and then my cousins are coming. I am working on some party favors with my sister Marisol and Chrissa even though Chrissa is really mean [oh no, that means that if I get bought YIKES!]She's a great artist. My mom got Cherry cake for my birthday. Oh how I wish you were here but some sad news, my mom is definatelly get Kanani before you. She is trying to win a contest for Kanani so she can buy you when she goes to New York this summer. Don't worry, I can arrange something for you to get you there. Well got to go, the girls need some help. I will send you some picks from the party next time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM! I wish I was there too but maybe next year right. Oh well there's some mean girls here too but I would rather not say anything but I know they dream of WORLD DOMINATION. or BECKI DOMINATION. But whatever. I then stoped not sure what else to write. The New York fact made me think, I can't just leave Chicago for them. The truth was, I didn't even know where they live. I wasn;t sure what to write anymore but decided to continue somehow.Here it is almost spring. OH GOODY.I actually got tired of winter. I not really besties with a Kanani I mean I heard they are nice but nothing more. I can't wait to see pictures from the party. Next time, I will upload some pics of the AG place here. Everyday

I started humming a song. I was extremely bored with nothing to do. Ivy had gone to a math tutorial. She said she wants to get into a higher math class when school starts. Sarah had gone shopping with some other girls like Ruthie and all I had to hang out with was my friend Kit. Now, there's nothing wrong with Kit it's just that, she has an obsession with reporting. She said she wants to write for the newspaper and she does that for us. She informs us of what's going on but if I went to hang out with her alone, I would be stuck in a sticky situation. I decided to check my email instead.

Behind the box

I woke up as the sun shone through the windows. I stretched out like most mornings and ignored my dream from last night. I went to the cafe where some dolls were having breakfast and grabbed one of the waffles and a cup of orange juice. Today was the day Felicity and Molly had an important annoucement and I didn't want to miss it. They called all the dolls to the cafeteria. I went to sit by Kit, Ruthie, Ivy and Sarah.
"Look, the sleepy head lives!"
Screamed Ivy as I went to go sit at the table
"Oh if it isn't miss I am too big of a baby to face everyone after my little incident. You decided to show that rag you call a face."
Said Julie
Ivy and Kit stood up in my defense but I pulled them down. Before Lanie and Julie could respond, Felicity's thundering voice said
"DOLLS OF AGPC, I AM HERE TO ANNOUCE THAT ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28, WE WILL BE STARTING SCHOOL"
I listened as people went into gasps and whispers amongst themselves
"WILL BE SENDING OUT SCHEDULES SOON AND HAVE ALL OF YOU ORGANIZED IN GROUPS AND CLASSES. YOU WILL GET LOCKERS SOON. THE CLASSES WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE BACK STORAGE ROOM!"
Said Molly. I looked around at the girls at my table. They were listening so well. The faces were so focused. I then turned back to what else they had to say.
"I WOULD NOW LIKE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO THE TEACHERS. TEACHING ENGLISH WILL BE MRS. PARKINGTON AND MRS. KAYA'A'TON'MY."
I looked as the two teachers came up to introduce themselves.
"TEACHING PHYSICAL EDUCATION WILL BE MRS.CORTIS AND MRS.HOLLER, TEACHING MATH WILL BE MRS.WALKER AND MRS.FORLER."
More teachers came out and I started planning my own schedule
"TEACHING READING WILL BE MRS.BENNET AND MRS.BORLING. TEACHING SPANISH WILL BE MRS.MONTOYA AND MRS.GARCIA."
The next two teachers came out and I began to eat my now cold waffle.
"TEACHING GEOGRAPHY WILL BE MRS.HONEYTONE AND MRS.ROSEN. TEACHING SCIENCE WILL BE MRS.O'MALLEY AND MRS.CANT."
The last two teachers came out and that's when I realized that in each subject, there was a teacher I already hate.
"LASTLY, THERE ARE THE CHOICE CLASSES. YOU WILL EACH BE ABLE TO PICK 2 CHOICES CLASSES. ONE IS AFTER SCHOOL AND ONE IN SCHOOL. THERE WILL BE GLEE TAUGHT BY MRS.BERGMAN AND DRAMA TAUGHT BY MRS.LARSON."
The teachers came out. I knew my two choice classes would be glee and drama so I went to eat.
"THE LAST TWO CHOICE CLASSES WILL BE CHEER TAUGHT BY MRS.BURLINGTON AND SPORTS TAUGHT BY MRS.TINNER"
The teachers came out. I decided to listen to the end to hear what Felicity and Molly had to say,
"FELICITY AND I WILL BE YOUR TEACHERS. WE EXPECT YOU ALL TO COME AND PLEASE WRITE DOWN YOUR CHOICE CLASSES AND TURN IT IN BY SATURDAY. ENJOY!"

Enchanted P.S. Happy Valentine's Day

After running off on Saturday, I still wasn't brave enough to come out of my section. I got emails from Lanie and Julie about what they thought but I ignored. Sadly, Ivy finally broke into my box,
"REBECCA RACHEL RUBIN! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO STAY HERE AND WEEP! THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU WERE MADE FOR! YOU ARE ONLY LETTING EVERYONE GET TO YOU! GET OUT KNOW AND GET OVER IT!"
I thought about what Ivy said but instead turned around in my bed and started crying more.
"FINE! BE THAT WAY! BUT TRUST ME, YOU'RE ONLY HURTING YOURSELF"
Ivy then pretended she left but I knew she didn't. She wouldn't leave just like that. I then put on Enchanted by Taylor Swift since that's exactly how I felt and no one not even Kyle could make me feel happier. I started singing the song

There I was again tonight forcing laughter, faking smiles

I looked down at him but I was shaken awake by Ivy screaming at me. The truth was, I dreamed all this up. I knew it was too good to be true, even on Valentine's.

Hearts can be broken

At 5, Ivy and I rushed to were we stored our dresses. As we found them, we hurriedly put them on. If you were wondering how they look, here's a picture. This is Ivy's

We threw the old dresses on quickly so no one would catch us then we rushed over to the party. There were a bunch of people already there. I hadn't seen Julie or Lanie yet but could tell they were there due to the commotion. Soon enough, Sarah approached us in a darling dress

She was walking over with one of the boys who I had secretly admired from afar. I listened as Whatcha' Say played and Sarah walked over. I straightened up my dress and I must've looked pretty stupid doing that since when I looked at Ivy she was looking at me funny.
"What?"
I asked.
"Hiya girlies. I knew you'd show up. See, no one wants to be alone on a Saturday night especially the Saturday night before Valentines Day."
I giggled in a nervous way,
"Yeah well maybe some people do"
Replied Ivy.
"Whatever. Anyway guys, I think you know Kyle. Kyle this is Rebecca and Ivy."
"It's Ivory"
I shot Ivy a look that said shut up or else.
"Well, it was nice seeing you girls"
"Wish it was like that for me too."
Replied Ivy before leaving to get some punch.
"Umm, I'll be back but you two should get along well huh."
I watched Sarah leave to go tell the band playing something.
"So, I see Ivory and Sarah don't get along too well."
said Kyle. Not sure of what to respond I said the first thing off the top of my head.
"Well, sometimes people have a bad day, sort of like Ivory's yesterday but there actually really close."
Embarassed of what I said, I was glad when the band finally said it was time for the sweethearts dance. EVERYONE MUST FIND A PARTNER!
"Well, since I am already here, would you like to dance Rebecca?"
In shock, I shook my head yes and we went to dance to Solo but unlike a Cinderella ball, I tripped over my long Gala dress walking with him. Of course, as if it was a bad luck thing, Julie walked over me in her high heels and dress carrying her punch, tripping over me letting the punch fly through the air spilling on Lanie and her dress. By now, I had had enough and couldn't wait to leave. I watched as everyone looked at me. Not sure of what to do next, I got up and flew out of there.

Is UGLY a hair type?

I hummed along as I walked through the store. It was still closed and this was when I did my exploring. I take out the AG guitar and start singing along to songs I've heard before. I checked out the new Lady Gaga song and then started humming to it. Soon enough, adding my guitar. After some time of that, I went to check up on the dresses. They were just where Ivy and I had left them yesterday. The thought of Ivy made me think, I haven't seen her yet today. I flew down the escalator to the historical section and went to the Julie and Ivy section where I found a red faces Ivy looking down at a huge mess of hair products.
"This had to be Julie and Lanie. Only they know where I store my hair and make-up supplies! I can't show up anywhere with my hair being....being......UGLY!"
I looked at my drama queen of a friend as she complained. The truth was, I loved her hair without all the beauty supplies but didn't want to say it in front of her so I agreed with what she said with an occasional, "Retard" comeback at Julie and Lanie. After what had seemed like days, Ivy stopped complaining and picked up the things.
"There is another set of supplies upstairs behind the AG Salon. We can simply grab it and come back. Then, we can get ready for the party."
And like most stories end, we did.

Dress,Doilies,Decorations and all that other stuff

I stood next to Ivy as we looked through dresses to wear to the dance. We were standing in the JLY section at the AGP and so far found only 4 dresses to choose from


But as you can tell were nowhere near finding the perfect one. Sarah already had a beauty one purchased. All I know is that there;s someone who goes out to Abercrombie and all those big expensive stores at night and get's clothes so some girls get there dresses from there. I thought I would go with the one with pink hearts or my Hanukkah dress.
"Becki,look what I found! It's some of the old retired AG clothes. WE could go in these!"
Behind some of the storage boxes were clothes I have seen since the Holiday Season of 2009. I looked at the nice dresses.
"There's no way the workers here would notice. We can get our hair done and then come change into them before the dance and when the dance is over we will rush back and change into our clothes"
I looked from Ivy to the dresses. They were nice and the workers wouldn't know a thing.
"Okay, Ivory." I finally responded.

Valentines=lovers only?

I walked through the American Girl Place with my pajama's on. The store was still closed for maybe 2 hours. One of the Just Like You's was in charge of letting us know. I went to the cafe and grabbed myself something hot to drink the I went to Ivy's display. I called her name once
"Ivory"
Once she didn't answer, I knew I would have to be loud and take a chance of being notice by Julie who was already up and tortuting everyone.
"IVORY!"
Ivy jumped out of her box and punched me in the arm.
"What was that for" I screamed at Ivy
"I was in the middle of the perfect dream about destroying Lanie and Julie and you just cut me off at the parts where they lose their heads" She screamed back.
I cocked my head at Ivy. I loved the girl as a friend but sometimes I wonder if maybe she was dropped on the head at the factory. Before I was going to tell her that, one of the Just Like You's, Sarah, came running towards us. Sarah was Just Like You #29 and a sweetheart.Speaking of sweethearts, her pajama's matched her personality. As Sarah reached us, she screamed,
"HI BECKI! HI IVORY! WHY AREN'T YOU WEARING YOUR VALENTINE OUTFITS!?"
That's when it hit me. The hearts, all the people acting all lovey dovey, it was Valentines. Today I didn't even mind Sarah's exploding Selena Gomez music. The terrible cat screeching off her ipodwas blocked out of my ears and then Ivy spoke up.
"I don't celebrate Valentine's day. Who's there to love?"
I then looked up at Ivy as if I was about to slap her. For a couple reasons.
1. I thought I was her best friend. Shouldn't she do something to me?
2.If you tell something like that to Sarah, you better make yourself comfortable since she will start a speech about it now.
3. She will make us listen to her dumb love songs until Valentines day.
As if I had just predicted the future, that's exactly what happened thankfully, Sarah's speech was intereputed by her phone,

Ivy and I listened in as the person on the other end introduced themselves. Sarah then said yes a few times and ran off but beforer I knew it, she was back with an invitation for me and Ivy, here's what it said.....

Hmm,pink or blue, make-up or nothing
Were some of the few questions running through my head as I was getting ready for the day. My name is Rebecca, Rebecca Rubin but I go by Becki. Not famous, not known. I live in the American Girl Place Chicago hoping that one little girl would pick me up and purchase me. My best friend is Ivy Ling but if you call her that, she won't talk to you for weeks. She prefers Ivory. She said it sounds more grown-up. Then there's also Julie and Lanie, the biggest bullies you could ever meet. They cause fake emergencies or anything for someone to notice them.
"BECKI!"
I heard Ivy calling. She was running at me with a piece of paper in one hand and in her other, her beret.
"Becki, I was looking for you. Look what Lanie and Julie posted"
On the piece of paper was a picture of me sucking on a baby bottle but you can totally tell how they copied it off the internet. Exhibit A, of Julie and Lanie.
